As support for Brown ebbs away, labour MPs are being urged to stick with his strong principles and beliefs. As for the rest of us, we now know what these are. Ten years of 'New Labour' has left Britain with 'Old Labour' disasters and ordinary people are going to suffer. Our democratic infrastructure is eroding; our social infrastructure breaking down; our international standing being surrendered; our economic systems being destroyed. And all this from a Prime Minister whose no more elected than Mugabe.
