Zimbabwe - enough is enough

Mugabe has been killing, maiming and starving his people and ruining his country for years, while Britain, other Western states, the UN and African neighbours have all stood aside with their hands stuffed firmly in their pockets. For every African disaster the action from those who should know better and could have sorted it out has been too little, too late - and innocent people have had their lives destroyed because of that failure. The biggest letdown is ours, Britain's; our weak international resolve created it and we should have pushed and pushed to correct the situation. Dogged tenacity on our part would have brought our partners in; after all, it took only a snap of American fingers to get Britain into Iraq. Now Morgan Tsvangirai has invited the world to help there is no excuse. Let's go!
