The biggest Challenge

What is the biggest challenge facing Britain? Well, according to New Labour over ten years it's been; Global Warming, Terrorism, Poverty, Obesity, The Aging Population, Binge Drinking, Knife Crime, Credit Crunch, Fuel Crisis, and now - Recession and Stagflation. In other words, they have absolutely no idea. Whatever hits them is the new biggest challenge. This is why political pundits say Labour is 'drifting'. They mean Labour can only address what they bump into next. This is not government. Government is about knowing what needs doing and then doing it for the benefit of your citizens, your nation and the world. It's a bit late now, but if Brown listens and listens hard to the ordinary, commonsense people of Britain, he may yet avert disaster for himself and us.
